I was 5 years old when I first saw this. In its flesh on the road cutting throught air, engine roaring as it went and within seconds it disappeared. One of the most vivid memories of my childhood. I can't remember the exact version of the model but it was the Lamborghini Countach. I think it was either 25th anniversary edition or the LP5000 QV. It's now a collector's item and has like like tripled in value because of the recent demand for old 80s and 90s cars like these. You won't see this on the road ever again. Either way as a 5 year old it blew my mind. I fell in love with cars after that. I'm almost 21 and I'm still obsessed with cars

I love 80s cars.
80s and 90s cars are what real sports cars are. Modern sports cars are very approachable, not a ton of sacrifices in terms of comfort and practicality and easy to ride but these 80s and 90s cars are all about raw performance. Cockpit was shit, bunch of safety hazards, unreliable and vibrantions etc. You have absolutely insane to buy them but that is what I love about them.

yep ngl i've i've started to appreciate comfort more esp after i've driven/been inside bmw/lexus/benz sports cars vs stuff like miatas. but i still think there's something so high T and based about those old sports cars and i wanna cop something from that era when i moneymax.

under 3500 lbs and no dct/auto, airbags, tcs, anti-lag measures or awd to save you. just you, a manual gearbox, and a powerful i6/v8/v12 engine sending all the power to the rear wheels. there was a time where sports cars would actively try to kill their owners (930 turbo, gen 1 viper) and only the highest T highest IQ chads could even dream of driving them to their limits

All of those are Countach 5000s except for the last one which is a 25th Anniversary.

My same obsession with them comes from playing the Need for Speed and Test Drive games as a kid, Test Drive Unlimited driving around Oahu in 1990s-2000s exotics is still my favorite video game ever. My favorite Lambo in those games was the Diablo SV.

But as I’ve gotten older I’ve liked older cars more and now it’s the Miura.
