Its shit. A bunch of random laws with no justification but one or two cherrypicked examples from history. They are not intuitive, hard to remember, often contradictory, based on conjecture with little to no proof, and written by an author who is not credible enough to have his word taken on faith. I learned more on your great thread about women and individual selective traits, whose conclusions follow from few principles, are intuitive, and are not based on conjecture but proof.

That book is not good as a book on psychology, nor is it good as a book on history. It's garbage and a waste of time.

I can go over it in a few paragraphs on a general level.

Increasing influence involves taking something you don't yet have. That taking can either be the taking of something possessed or unpossessed. The taking of something possessed can either be taken by force or given. This means there are only three ways to increase influence:
steal, trade, or claim.
1. Overpower someone to take something (Stealing)
2. Convince someone to give something (Trading)
3. Take that which is not yet taken (Claiming)

We primarily use the second way of increasing influence, since much of the world is already in the possession of such a great power that to steal parts of it away is very difficult and short-lived. If someone is caught stealing, then they are punished and the stolen possession is returned/stolen back, the punishment happening according to the decision of the owners of the territory. Stealing is then massively deterred in these civilized territories and is fairly rare.

On the other hand, claiming is not going to be used because the vast majority of people want to stay within the civilized territories because of the laws its owners have set up using their control.

Trading is then the core of what you should be worrying about if you want to increase your influence. In order to get from others, you have to have things to offer which makes them want to give to you. That is the general method for increasing influence.

Attractiveness is one of those things. Just look at how very attractive men and women are treated. Look at how cute dogs are treated like humans and spoiled. Look at how sympathy drives people to care for the struggling and unfortunate. Etc. Etc.

Knowing this general principle allows you to deal with specific scenarios more effectively, and acquire that which is necessary to be given to according to the possessor and that which you want them to give.

For instance, if you want to turn a good girl into a cum dumpster, you will have to have those qualities or possessions which makes her want to give herself to you. So you then looksmax, become more aggressive and low inhib, and show the girl you have these qualities and possessions. You then trade and she is yours.
