thoughts on going to Mexico for surgery?

17M, thinking about getting surgery in Mexico in the next six months. It would be cheaper and I know the language (unlike if I were to go to Turkey). My concern is if it's botched. Another concern is safety but then again I'm 6'1 (which is huge in Mexico)

No language barrier is great - they may feel less inclined to "finesse the gringo", especially if you approach them in Spanish initially. Anywhere you can leverage the strength of the dollar will be good - It will afford you safe lodging in rich areas and work in private clinics and hospitals. It's always about a particular surgeon's work than the general consensus of an entire country. Everywhere can botch, everywhere can ascend.

As with any surgeon you have to do due diligence, determining "frauded IG results" from actual ones. I would join the language or country-specific facebook groups for the procedure you're interested in and collect real testimonials from people who have gone to your surgeon.

was just in mexico and am the same height. can confirm it is huge lol

oh and filler

filler and botox is a little different that having them cut and reattach pieces of your skull.. that being said, obv there are some good surgeons in mexico, but i still dont know if youd wanna risk it
