Sphenoid asymmetry (higher eye)
In most cases of sphenoid asymmetry where one orbital box is higher than the other one often looks hideous, Elias de poot has it but it's barely visible. So my questions are,
is it the shape that makes the asymmetry noticeable or is it the orbital box being higher(Elias de poot contradicts it on my opinion)?
Surgical fix?
Also, is Orbital box osteotomy paired with orbital implants the only fix to sphenoid asymmetries?
I do know that the maxilla is also involved in this and might gotta be paired lefort, OBO and other one i mentioned to get a fix. Or is this overkill?
And also can canthoplasty/canthopexy paired with implants give the illusion of symmetry killing the need for extreme hardmaxes for medium cases of sphenoid asymmetry?
My main question is, is there any way to avoid OBO and mask it??
