I've been getting invited fairly often to parties lately, but always rejected to go to the "home parties" afterwards, because I've been using normal shoe lifts and didn't want to take them off. :)forcedsmile:)

Any solutions?

Sadly, sock lifts are fucking terrible. Squishy, unstable and your feet will look weird. Might just work if everyone is drunk though and you wear a couple of layers of black socks.

Slippers with lifts are good for indoors but not really feasible at an “afters”.

Idk what country you’re in but amongst young people in the UK, I don’t think it’s even the norm to take your shoes off on such occasion.

And it depends on how much you’re frauding, if it’s under an inch you can probably take them off and not raise suspicions, more believable if your shoes are chunky anyway.

I bought sock lifts one time and I almost fell on the floor trying them out 😭

They were without the wrap around the feet though, only the lower part. Maybe with thick socks it would work?

I'm scared sometimes of people looking into my shoes too 😭 Imagine.. Just imagine I get caught and the whole party realizes that I wear lifts

I did that too bro, I put them in the corner somewhere last time I did that and put the shoelaces on top to hide the lifts even more

Put them under the shoe insole, virtually undetectable if they are small lifts.

Otherwise use the ones with a black fabric layer on top. If the shoe interior is dark then it’s not noticeable.

I can't take them out. I might get some Timberlands soon, it would be harder to look into the shoes with these boots.

I’ve gone turbo-autistically deep on the heightfraud lifestyle in the last year.

I’ve seen very few shoes where you can’t easily get the insole out. Even if it’s glued (like it is in AF1s I think), you can still pry it off fairly easily and it will still fit back in perfectly, the glue is not needed at all.

Timbs are good, I like the Arbor road model as they give more height due to a thicker midsole. Idk if they appease the fashion police though. Also idk how NT timbs are amongst younger people in a party context, like it would be weird to wear them to the club.

I like to fraud with high top AF1 with the strap removed and hidden under loose cargos or jeans.

But more recently I’ve started using the AJ1 elevate which is technically a women’s shoe but who cares as 99.9% of people don’t know that.

Slightly thicker than AF1s but not really to a noticeable degree to anybody, especially in this colourway where the bottom part is black.

I even had a girl who claimed to be a sneakerhead comment on them and she seemed to think they were normal AJ1s and said “they look like air forces, why don’t you just get airforces” and I just said I wanted a different colourway.

This is arcane knowledge :lul:

With good quality non-squishy lifts in high top shoes, my ankles are very secure.

I mainly use lifts that add a true 1.5 inches and it’s super comfortable and causes no issues. Can add some heel lift layers to go up to 2 inches and it’s still tolerable. That’s close to 4 inches of added height with those Elevated AJ1s

Too expensive

  • Hmm...

We have different concepts of what's expensive and what isn't, how much are the lifts?
£12.99 in the UK

You literally need one pair if you are happy to spend a few seconds moving them between shoes when needed.
