Did multiple papers on them and flowery wars. Also, the Spanish conquest of the New World. The accounts of the conquistadors with and Cortez himself are incredible. Also, how Tenochtitlan would have look during the time must have been fascinating. I even recall Cortez describing it as rivaling/being even more or equal to European cities at the time in terms of overall splendor. The fashion, ideas, caste system and everything about the culture is just so unique but sadly is either misrepresented, overlooked (other groups besides main ones), unknown, or just plain messy in terms of sources and the interaction with modern historians/writers/researchers.

Also, since I am ranting, the whole idea of enjoying killing people is both truth and false. Elements are taken out of context, blown up in portion, downgraded, or given less attention depending on the source. A lot of native apologists will cope and deny the scale or cultural background of shit. On the other side, opponents will overestimate or similar shady shit. But that is part of history, the complete truth is going to be hidden and parts not talked about.

Anyway, this is far too complex to talk about on a looksmax.org off-topic thread, lmao. But overall I do agree with your point on the Aztecs being the main figurehead of native "resistance" and it being taught more than the others. If you have interest in the topic, another is Tecumseh in terms of having a lot of attention about resistance against colonial powers. Although, I only know about him in the context of the War of 1812. There are plenty of small rebellions n shit if you look at American colonial history.

Don't know much about Inca sadly, but the farming shit is cool. Aztecs had some of it too ik with the canal waterway things.
