It's too manicured, it needs to look slightly more natural like a rugged cowboy not some iranian 45 year old dad with a fat neck who tries to fraud a chin by having laser cut lines.

Beards are supposed to show that you are a bit relaxed and carefree so to overly manicure it defeats the point of the beard.

because the beard has spots that look very dense, while other spots are not so dense. Looks like he filled the rest of the beard with make up/skin dye.
This is how you look when you dye your beard with 'just for men' beard dye, get too much of the dye on skin and it takes 24 hours to fade.
