Yes it's true, thinking by it, surgeon can hardly mess your bimax if you have custom plates and guides (depends), so basically any surgeon that's good can do the work for cheaper, better a surgeon wich also is a professor at a university and works at a public hospital (access to more and better tools).

I think you can find some cheaper and good, best option is to find a surgeon wich is a professor at a uni and works at a public hospital, since he documents everything beforehand (also has newer/better tools because he works at a public hospital), and also listens to your proposal but also gives you advice, this is the best surgeon you can find.

I mean, that's what I was saying, you can easily find a surgeon with an eye for aesthetics who's a public surgeon. I never said they had to be local, though. You could probably find a good one nearby, but it's definitely harder.

wouldnt it be far more likely that he just fucked up than that some rival surgeon is playing games on reddit? same accusation was made against people saying Celal Candirli botched them. like some rival Turk is trying to drum up business on reddit by saying that people are getting botched in Turkey.

I agree that reddit tends to report edge cases but Celal has seen a lot of pushback from dissatisfied patients.
Someone who's prepared to perform LF2 on non syndromic patients for just 30K is probably a morally dubious character.

And apart from that they may use u as test for some beginner that is a out to learn. Private clinics are superior because its a surgeon who has been on hospital for probably 10+ years and then with experience do there own thing. But i agree there are more maxfacs out there. But to be fair if you want custom plates you are not gonna get any cheaper then 15k which is not much more then ram and pags prices either way. And also another reason why ram and pag is good is because they do around 100 bimaxes a year

In the end I think its your own resposibility to make sure you do enough research to ensure that you know what you’re getting yourself into and what you can expect from it.

He looks better in the after picture and admits to body disymorphia.

I don’t think he is a reliable narrator and the post comes across as rambling.

A 2 mm set back of the lower jaw is not going to give you airway problems.

A big issue is OP fully admits to body dysmorphia even before surgery, making his testimonial inherently unreliable in my eyes.

Not to mention the 2 mm movement is nothing and would not affect his airways materially.
