Don't thumbpull it does not work, you will only waste your time and make ur thumbs crooked and maybe even get arthritis - is what I will tell everyone from now and on

Today, I went to my orthodontist for a normal appointment (every 6ish weeks) where he tightens my braces and fixes anything that’s broken. The assistant took off the little bands from each brace, and I told him I had a broken bracket. We then waited for the main doctor.
When the doctor came in, he mentioned to his assistant that my teeth looked "weird" and asked me if I had been doing anything out of the ordinary or changed anything major in my morning or night routines. I told him "No" and he looked at me strangely again. Afterward, they fixed my bracket, tightened my braces, and I went home.
An important thing to note is that this is my second year with braces, so all my teeth are straight, and they are just holding them in place for a little while before taking my braces off. Nothing should be changing rapidly. The only thing I’ve actually changed recently is that I started thumbpulling 3x for 30 seconds every morning and 3x for 30 seconds before bed—3 minutes a day—along with chin tucks. But, of course, I didn’t tell them that, or they would send me to Mumbai’s schizo asylum.
He never asked me these types of questions before, and I also never broke brackets specifically on my front teeth. I have broken brackets on my molars before if I ate something hard, but it happened very rarely. I’ve never had it where the front brackets just popped off, as in they no longer belonged there or where extra space appeared, making the wire awkwardly sit between some of my teeth.
I used to break brackets once every couple of months, and it would always be on my back teeth, never the front. Still, I had to come in for an "emergency" appointment three times since my last standard appointment because of my front brackets coming off.
The doctor’s comment + some pictures I have from before have completely confirmed to me that 3 minutes of high-effort thumbpulling (no weak bs) every day for 60 days is enough to see results. I will gatekeep this to my grave and will reply with "keep coping jfl" to every thumbpulling thread I see.
