Thumbpulling made the gaps in my teeth worse

i tried thumbpulling just because i was curious if it works or not and got these results after thumbpulling like 5 times (1 week)

yes the gap barely changed but it changed very quickly so I stopped doing it (i last did it 4 weeks ago and the after photo is today)

also this gap got WAY worse

idk if this is enough proof to prove that thumbpulling works but imo it works but it made my teeth gaps worse so I stopped and my palate is normal anyway idk if its worth doing it further

this means ur palate widened no? same thing happens in mse then people use braces to reallign the teeth.
