THYROID HORMONES
Now you may be wondering, what is T4 and T3?
These are The Two Primary Thyroid Hormones which The Thyroid Gland produces and releases when it is functioning properly.
When focusing on improving Overall Health and your Physical Proportions, as well as Performance, you should be focusing on increasing the overall levels of Free T3.
Before getting into this, we first have to ask…
How are Thyroid Hormones created in the first place?
First, The Pituitary Gland releases TSH also known as Thyroid Stimulating Hormone
TSH then binds to The Receptors located on The Thyroid Gland stimulating the Production and Release of T4 (thyroxine) and T3 (triiodothyronine)
For this to occur there needs to be sufficient levels of Iodine present in the Blood Stream alongside Selenium.
Then for T4 to be converted into the active form of T3, DIO2 also know as Diodenase 2 needs to be activated, which I have covered in the Slides
The benefits of having a Healthy Thyroid are the following:
- Enhances Glucose Metabolism
- Enhances Fat Metabolism
- Increases Insulin Sensitivity
- Increases Total IQ and EQ
- Improves Hair Thickness and Hair Structure
- Larger Frame
- Increases Collagen
- Increased Resting Body Temperature
- Enhanced Liver Function
- Increased Androgen Sensitivity
- Improved Body Composition / Proportions
- Improved Potential to Grow Taller
- Improved Brain Function / Power / Efficiency
What are Thyroid Hormones?
What is T4 and T3? These are the two primary thyroid hormones. You should mainly be focusing on Free T3, but don't forget about t4, as its needed to make t3.
now I am going to list things which inhibit thyroid function
Thyroid Inhibitors
Hyperthyroidism is when you produce too much, to know if you have this get a blood test, hypo is if you produce too little, best way to know if through blood test.

Thyroid Inhibitors
- Goitrogens
- Cold Exposure
- Phytoestrogens
- Elevated PTH
- Caloric Deficit
- Being too fat
- Imbalanced T to E ratios
- Lack of Movement
- Elevated Prolactin
- Excess Serotonin
- Chlorine
- Dehydrated
- Pufa
- Low nutrient diet

How to increase Free T3
- Increase Selenium intake
- Consume fish head (has bioactive t3)
- Increase Manganese levels (pineapple or birch water)
- Coconut oil ( 1tbsp in morning and night)
- Increase Insulin receptor sensitivity
- Get enough sun, especially directly on your thyroid
- Royal jelly (increase t3)
- Consume enough Iodine
- Consume Tyrosine (In meats)
- Eat enough carbs
- Manage emf exposure (use speaker phone only, turn off wifi at night)
- Consume honey
