How many calories do you eat a day? Also how tall and weight?
I am at 71kg and 2000-2200kcal a day. I trying to find the sweet spot to build lean muscles without getting fatter.

i eat around 1000cal a day, 92kg 6'1"

I focus more on how much protein i eat than calories

If u wanna build lean muscle just eat at maintenance and you'll eventually eat more naturally and slowly, while gaining muscle

This, if you actually try to eat the 150-200 grams of protein a day, you will feel really satiated, add some green salad or veggies and you might even have trouble hitting your TDEE.

The problem starts when y'all intake most of your calories from the tasty and unsatiating combo of fats+carbs. Its really tasty, but not optimal.

It boils down to if you see eating as a way of optimally sustaining yourself or you just see it as a dopamine boost.

As for the question: ~4k kcal, 186cm, 86kg. BUT I DO ADF, SO I EAT EVERY OTHER DAY.

how is life at 85kg?

I'm around 12% bf. Feels good. One day I will bulk up to see how strong I can get but it's a struggle for me to put on weight tbh. Moderate cardio + 3-4 hard gym weight sessions a week with 3.7k calories is quite a high maintenance level. Then again, better lean than fat.
