press ur tongue up against the outer top left roof of ur mouth, where ur teeth face, you’ll instantly notice cheekbones pop out, and ur face will look way more hollow. after some research i found it engages the muscles that give the look im talking about (buccinator, masseter, whatever), but its wild how instant the effect is. Not saying this is some magic fix or anything, but if you ever wanted a quick ego boost while doing the whole fraudmaxxing niche try it out. it looks as if your cheekbitting but a lot more natural :soy:

Your tongue will automatically rest at the roof if your maxilla grew forward enough. If it fails to do so, then it’s already over due to being recessed.

why left not right?

why left not right?
I found my tongue to sit better on the left side of the roof of my mouth, not the right. I don't know, this may be personal preference, or how my teeth is just shaped. Find what works the best for you. It all comes down to the asymmetries in your palate, and your teeth alignment, or even muscle dominance.

That makes sense for natural resting posture, but I'm talking about an intentional movement that instantly changes facial appearance, not long-term bone growth. Even people with a recessed maxilla can engage their tongue in certain ways to create a temporary hollow effect. It’s more about muscle activation (buccinator, masseter, zygomaticus) than actual bone structure. Whether your maxilla is forward or not, this trick still works.
