I’m 16 and have had a tongue tie my whole life, it’s not extreme but it does impede me from sticking out my tongue far and having proper mouth posture sometimes. I’ve never liked it and am considering a frenectomy (surgery to cut the tongue tie) are there any downsides/should I get the procedure?
