Note: I was writing my journal midway through all of my trades to collect my thoughts, so once you see the "-->" it symbolizes that I took another trade mid-journal entry
I took a loss and a breakeven so far today, I have one more trade left in the day, I'm gonna make it count.
The loss was because I took an over-refined entry out of an area I was looking at, the break even happened when we finally made it into the aforementioned area proper as I took it with less refinement, the break even allowed me to cover about 90% of my first loss, so I'm still in the game.
I'm only trading one more area, and it's basically my only option for the day ATP. The reason my second trade didn't make it to target, is because I miscalculated.
-->Okay, I came back after saying I was going to wait. I didn't EXACTLY WAIT FOR THE AREA I WAS TALKING ABOUT BEFORE.
But I had considered OTHER POSSIBLITIES AS WELL(earlier I said I miscalculated, meaning i failed to consider them before). So for one, I considered the possibility that we were actually in a RANGE, AND THATS WHY MY SETUP DIDNT WORK.
So what did I do? I traded as if I WAS IN A RANGE/CONSOLIDATION, and I came out victorious and PASSED MY EVALUATION!!!
from now on, I'm not over-leveraging, I'm gonna be trading like 1-2 micros at most because I just want to be able to trade to cover the expenses of my minimum wage job, because I fucking hate it.
but here's a video of the trade I took that passed it:
