Took Lorazepam to Calm My Anxiety—About to Cold Approach the Hottest Exchange Girl

Just took a Lorazepam because my anxiety is through the roof right now. There's this girl from the exchange program I've been trying to approach for a while. Last time, I completely froze and didn’t know what to say, but today I’m going in prepared. I’ve got a game plan, and I’m hoping this time it’ll go smoother.

Here’s the plan:

1. Greet her and mention that I’ve seen her around before.
2. Say that I’m practicing my English (which is true, but also a good icebreaker).
3. Ask for her name and share mine.
4. Ask why she’s in my city and what she’s studying.
5. Throw in a joke about my English to keep it light, maybe even flirt a little if the vibe feels right.
6. If everything goes well, I’ll ask for her Instagram to stay in touch.
7. If she rejects me, I’m just gonna smile and leave confidently like it’s no big deal.

Right now, I’m anxious as fuck, but I’m hoping the Lorazepam kicks in soon so I can calm down and not come off like a total wreck. I’ve been overthinking this for days, but I know the worst that can happen is she says no, and life moves on. I just want to face this fear and get it over with.

She wasn’t at the grocery store today. FML. I legit prepared for this, hyped myself up, took the Lorazepam, and nothing. All that stress for no reason. I feel like I wasted all that mental energy, and now I’m just sitting here frustrated as hell.

I really hope I see her tomorrow, though. I don’t wanna let this build up again, but damn… this sucks.
