Yes, it's the U.S.. I live in a 2-family house. My neighborhood is middle class.

No. Those are mostly small, private homes.

For those of you who say I live in the ghetto: the average price of a 1-2-family house in my neighborhood is 1.4 million usd. My house appraised for 1.6 million. These are not huge homes (mine is 2200 sq ft, not including the basement), but they're in a middle-class neighborhood in an expensive city.

Also, my neighborhood is a mixture of white and Chinese, who have moved in in last 20 years. But since they settled in, all the stray cats in my backyard are gone.
