so i was thinking while in the shower that excess cortisol can speed up aging and and hairloss, so if you can use a localised topical anti cortisol drug wouldnt that get rid of or reduce cortisol induced aging

im still new to this stuff so its prob a low IQ theory but would this work?

Maybe but there's also better options

I suppose it could help STOP the cortisol-induced aging, but not reverse it, it can do lots of stuff to your skin like up regulating oil production or damaging collagen structures and elastin. While the oil production isn't an issue, the damaged collagen and elastin is, however such topical wouldn't do much to help there.

I guess, a nice preventative measure, but I wouldn't do it anyway if you could achieve basically the same thing through your habits.

What do you mean by a typical anti steroid drug? Like does it block the cortisol in some area or does it get into your bloodstream through the skin?

so like ru58841 blocks dht locally which makes it more ideal for younger people going through early stages of hairloss while having little to no effect on your dht levels, so if you could make a drug that locally reduces or gets rid of cortisol in that one area without having systemic effects it could possibly slow down aging

:feelsokman:. But the thing is that way better alternatives like tretinoin and sunscreen already exist. Cortisol isn't a huge driver of like more surface level aging

search up presidents aging in office

why not just nuke cortisol systemically?

There’s nothing easily available that blocks cortisol at receptors or down regulates it systemically.

In theory if you blast 3 grams of tren it will reduce cortisol binding at mc receptor by 50% but that’s not an ideal solution.

tell me the issue retard

youre chatting about topical anticortisol and calling me low iq

get a grip faggot
i made a post about it because it makes sense, but just taking a drug that would lower cortisol systemically, while yes it could work its not gonna be as effective as a topical localised effect ( is vitamin c orally better for skin or topically? this is an example of topical localised effects being able to be more effective then oral and systemic ). also using drugs that go systemic can cause many side effects which can cause people to be scared away from it and its just a theory not an actual belief because i havent seen any scientific or anacdotal evidence about it
then just decrease dose
thats not how it works for example, pinning test suppreses natrual testosterone, just lower the dose and u wont be suppressed :feelsgood:. see how dumb that sounds( yes lowering the dose will make it less suppressive but its still gonna suppress u), when you systemically fuck around with hormones it can cause many side effects so thats why i made a theory that you could use something topically that doesnt go systemic (why do u think people dont use oral 5ARI and use ru58841, because it does little to no effect on hormones therefore not causing sexual side effects)

are you hearing yourself?

as long as ur cortisol is managed, you will not lose hair due to it

dogshit comparison

we arent on about inhibiting dht, as for example puberty/mastcels would want it systemically so they use localized shit

low cortisol is definitely a good thing
it is there “for a reason” mostly to indicate that something is off

the ONLY real use for cortisol would be that it contributes to eq, and yet it is still such a low factor its pretty much negligible

It's better to reduce systemic cortisol production, not block cortisol binding to areas of application.
