No dutasteride has a molecular weight of 528 which places it above the 500 Dalton rule for transdermal drugs. So topical Dutasteride may not penetrate the skin enough to work properly.
And if you're talking about the new study that just came out Hair cafe already made a video about it. The study's reported DHT suppression from oral finasteride was unusually low which indicates unconsistent drug intake from the participants, since the oral finasteride group in the study showed much less DHT suppression than typically reported in other studies. Also the study was funded by the drug company Schilpa Medicare and some investigators of the Study were employees of said company.

Sure but nearly all established topical and transdermal drugs fall below 500 Dalton of course this rule is not absolute especially if you can formulate a solution with active ingredients that help penetrate the epidermis or deliver it with microneedling for example.
Im just pointing out the study is kinda shit also topical finasteride has more data in general on it so its not clear what compound is superior.
If you want try out topical dutasteride then do it and make a thread about it how it goes. If you're high iq combine with something that helps penetrate the skin more. You can dutasteride powder from any chinese vendor.
