I’ve been experiencing hair loss, would topical finasteride be a good idea since it wouldn’t completely eliminate dht in the blood but reduce in the scalp? i’m 16 so i don’t really want the pill

Not really, ru58841 is more effective and cheaper anyway
“and reduction from baseline in mean serum DHT concentration was lower (34.5%”

It will just take longer and eventually acumulate

Not really, ofcourse some small percentage yes but for most of the part it diminishes dht where you apply it
It doesnt bind to skin proteins well, more compact molecule and not very lipophilic

Ru on the other hand is very lipophilic and does bind in the skin and not only that it doesnt only locally block dht at 95% comapred to fin's 65%,it blocks whatever androgen is there so less potent androgens like test cant even give their small androgenic effects

Use topical until 18 then do fin or dut
