If your only goal with GHK is your skin, then topical is better than injecting it and here’s why:
Topical GHK-Cu acts directly on the skin cells. It penetrates the epidermis very well, stays there for longer and you get effects exactly where applied.
Pinning GHK is more about systemic healing, hair regrowth and tissue repair.
Just think about it logically:
If you inject ghk, it will spread across your entire body, meaning only a little part of it might end up in the skin on your face.
I even have a testimony from a “skincare influencer”, who said he saw no effect from injections across 6 months of use. (he even used multiple sources, so the product wasn’t the problem here)
If you want to add yet another thing that you have to pin, be my guest, but the facts don’t lie.

Topical GHK-Cu Bioavailability:
Injected GHK-Cu Bioavailability:
- Measures how well it penetrates the skin barrier and binds to target cells (like fibroblasts).
- GHK-Cu has good skin permeability due to its small size (~3 amino acids) and copper binding.
- Formulation matters — creams, serums, pH, and carrier ingredients affect how much is absorbed.
Injected GHK-Cu Bioavailability:
- Has high systemic bioavailability (goes into bloodstream efficiently).
- But for skin, this can mean less local action, since it’s distributed body-wide, not concentrated in facial or dermal tissue unless targeted.
