If you have an IQ above room temperature, can think logically and manage risks and emotions, it is so extremely doable

If you're not impressionable enough to fall for every day-trading post you see trying to sell their course, and you can actually study trading deeply, you have the potential to make so much

I’m still in school yet I’ve been doing great I've made $17k in the past 20 days alone under no stress and I haven’t had a losing stretch

People don´t understand investing and trading is the future. But even worse people don´t understand money is the solution to 90% of their problems, you can lookmax 10 years and get mogged by a rich grey who hopped on lookmaxxing a year prior, only because he had the possibility to buy a new Skull from a competent surgeon. Therefore you could´ve used 1/10th of that wasted time to learn how to make bread and have a better result

Btw congrats on your results, 17k in 20 days is impressive especially if you´re still going to school, have you considered copy trading multiple funded accounts at the same time?

How do I achieve this?

You should never have to pay for courses just find the right videos and books from reputable people (forgot who I would watch tbh), my dad doesn’t trade as much as I do but he’s been at it way longer so I’ve also learned a lot just from sitting with him and listening to his approach

You need to understand how the market moves like understanding patterns algorithms and how big players anticipate moves and you’ll start seeing things like when a market might dip or spike

Paper-trading at first is also a must it's not real money so you can test your strategies without risking anything

I stick to stocks that are stable and trending upwards long-term that way even if you make mistakes early on you can ride it out as backup

Always manage risk don’t throw all your money at one stock and have a plan for when to cut losses

How old are you, and how long have you been learning trading?

I'm near 17 and I've been trading with real money for 3 months and before that I've learned and paper traded for 2 months

I thought you had studied this niche much more. How long and how often have you been studying trading?

If you're already strong with probabilities and such I don't think there's much to prepare before hand besides things exclusive to trading specifically. Lots of of trading knowledge though comes from the trading itself

2 months just during my free time so maybe at least an hour a day

Are you trading options? 0 day contracts?

No options I'm just buying the stock itself
Did 0DTE once and got lucky and made a huge profit but never did it again it's too risky for my likings

you're 16 and you've made nearly 20k in 20 days?
How big was your account when you started? you trading futures?

there's tonnes of super rich kids on this forum. Was reading another post earlier of some kid who apparently makes like 40k per month making youtube shorts lol

20 days ago I used 4k of what I had made to get my 17k but back when I initially started I put in about 5k into my account
I did trade some gold recently right when it spiked high up but I usually keep it for long-term

Lol yes everyone is grinding hard on here

how long did you take to learn to trade?

Scroll down this thread a lil I was talking about it
i was tryna learn it for a couple days but all the candle stuff and stocks kind of just bore me
also my dads into it and says its "not a good investment to make money long term, more short term"
you think i should still try and learn it?

Like he told you it's better to trade short term over long term? I agree with him, there's nothing wrong in buying long term if you want but you should be relying more on your short term earnings (days to weeks, never one-day spans)

If you haven't paper traded yet try that out if watching videos seems boring
But if you really don't enjoy it then you don't have to, though I feel like once ppl understand it's not too much of a workload

Tbh I don't think he knows what he's doing sometimes with his trades
You should look into historical traders whose methods have been time tested
Jesse Livermore and Richard Dennis were some

How would one gatekeep this lol it's just setting up a trading account

Sign in to broker’s app/site > Go to Deposit/Funding/Cash section > Pick deposit method (e.g. credit card) > Enter card details

Tradingview is a good start but Charles Schwab is better
Tradingview is free though and has enough for starters so if you're unsure whether you want to commit or not go there first

where or how did you learn

where or how did you learn
start with paper trading and wait for a statistical edge you need at least 1k trades being profitable and yt for learning is more than enough , also don't listen to this guy he's just trying to sound smart for attention. Trading is hard and you shouldn't try if you're an emotional guy and can't stick to your risk management plan.

fuck off trading isnt always "easy." indeed its easy to understand but its not always easy and youd need to wake up at certain times and check the news, check posts, and predict what's going to happen

Waking up at certain times only depends on where you live and where you’re trading

If a newbie gets into trading they’ll understand that instantly, same with the news stocks gets impacted by real world events and if you were to study trading you’d realize this within your first two days

Shocker: if you want to get into the finance industry, you’re gonna have to check finance news :feelskek:

Don't be emotional like that
If you're determined then work hard do your research and learn skills
can you reccomend a mentor or something?

can you reccomend a mentor or something?
Look into the thread I mentioned some

Also I suggest time-tested individuals' work who people still praise to this day, not newer people
Use their knowledge then adapt it to how the current market is working

your thread title is "Trading is easy"
Threads exist to read the entire post not just the title :lul:
I mention emotions risk management and having a good enough IQ (smart enough to practice before you go all-in)

Your title is still misleading lol , nothing easy about all the thing you listed in your thread , easier said than done.

Can I ask what you're strategy is ?
