Gender was created because reproduction consumes so much energy of the lifeform (literally just cumming takes it out of us, imagine if we had to make the egg, periods and baby too and then care for it while hunting etc) so a split off was formed where basically the woman is a diminished form of the animal and their sole role is to reproduce and care while the man unshackled from this burden can now rise to a greater height and take care of everything else.
