Transhumanism has an unfairly bad reputation

Partly because it is confused with retarded neoliberal ideas like transexualism and cultural marxism and most of its proponents are questionable. People also watch scifi and think stuff like genetic engineering, ai and cybernetics will create a dystopian hell which is really just fantasy. Another problem is that modern people do not embrace reality for what it is and instead cope with new age bullshit or rehash interpretations of philosophies and religions from the axial and middle ages. Society needs new ideologies and paradigms going forwards. The old ideas and traditions create a good foundation but we need to build upon it and adapt to changing times as well. People need to learn to embrace the concept of human augmentation.
