Wtf does obtuse mean? Like, too high or too low?

I know a way to fix it also improves health and is cheap imma gatekeep tho

It depends on quite a few things so its kinda hard to say without seeing a picture. It could be a result of malocclusion, in which case you might need CCW bimax.

In case your occlusion is not too clockwise rotated and its your VERY short ramus, you should get ramus implants. In my honest aesthetic opinion, as long as you have no malocclusion and have a LONG mandible, a higher gonial angle is better since it gives you that V-shaped face. I am actually looking to shorten my ramus one day in order to increase the gonial angle lmao

can barely even fix that with surgery brah. pretty sure only option is jaw angle implants, in which adding lots of ramus height comes with a significant risk of masseter dishenence. over

Idk bro have you tried mewing? It will lift your hoyid bone if you do it correctly which will make your gonial angle seem not too high

Too much to fix by just raising the hyoid bone he has to upswing his maxilla and increase ramus length

You can't change stuff like that naturally except for making your masseters huge which will look like minecraft Steve, or constantly biting down.

If you try to sell a course here I pray to god nobody falls for that. Its difficult enough to do with a surgery in which they literally cut your mandible in half

Can fix it better naturally will end up even better looking compared to surgery, if done right theres hardly any risk and ofc you dont have to pay a shit ton for surgery, dont listen to these retards @syphon

I don't think any widely available regular cut surgeries fix gonial angle, need something bit more obscure. And yeah high gonial angle isn't even the worst, even in side. It is feminizing but meh, i think overall forward growth is more important for example

If your gonial angle is too low because your occlusion is too CCW rotated, you can do CW bimax to increase it.

If you have a normal skull lenght and a too low gonial angle because of a too tall ramus, you can shorten it by korean v-line.

If you have a short ramus and a short skull, and a low gonial angle, you are fucked. Brachycephaly is a death sentence

I'm not sure about increasing, but i was talking about reducing gonial angle, with regular bimax cuts it isn't rly possible afaik.

Btw how much gonial angle do you think would approx 5mm vertical and horizontal genio increase it, if at all?

Depends on your mandible lenght, chin projection etc.

In general, I believe that if you wish to give off a hogher gonial angle look after genio, you need to also push a bit forwards. If you sort of "glide" the chin both forwards and downwards it will seem as if the mandible is facing more towards the ground. Meanwhile, if you just push the chin down, it will just look like you have a tall chin

I don't need higher gonial, mine is 127ish lol, ideally i want to stay between 120-130, for the 'objective' ratio gains, but i don't think it's important in reality rly tbh. By gliding you mean both projection and vertical right? That's exactly what i'm planning, i want around 5-6mm vertical and projection both. the projection will give me ideal facial convexity angles.

But i saw 5mm projection, doesn't project visibly, and that it only stretches the soft tissue or something, didn't understand that a 100%

It really is case dependant bro. Find a blackpilled surgeon, show him your CT scans, explain your hopes and pray to god.

I'd help you but I'd have to know what you look like

It's not a really complicated surgery, quite easy actually. I'm just curious as to how much it will change my gonial angle, but that's not a big concern. I don't have CT scans yet, i'll book a consultation with a surgeon in my country probably this month. He apparently has 3D imagining, so i probably can see if my chin will project in soft tissue with the movement. An option is also dr eren pera in turkey apparently for 4.5k, but i'm 17 and my parents aren't happy about it, and idk if they'd let me in turkey. I'd need to get someone overlooking me probably at least.

If i need input about my case, i'll ask you, since your aesthetic view seems to be somewhat similar to mine in some aspects.
