Trentinoin for acne scars?

Currently taking Accutane but I have 2 bottles of tretinoin (0.025%) I am currently not using that I want to make the best out of. Could I incorporate this into my skincare routine to eliminate scarring without having to buy retinol so I don't waste them? Are there any other uses for tretinoin, and will use of it while on Accutane cause any damage to my skin?

If you have bad acne scars, it’s best not to use tretinoin while you’re still on Accutane. Both are strong retinoids, and using them together can seriously irritate your skin, slow healing, and potentially make scarring worse. It’s smarter to finish your Accutane course first, wait about a month for your skin to recover, then slowly introduce tretinoin. That’s when it can actually help improve scars and skin texture without damaging your skin.
