tretinoin fucked me up need advice

about 3 months ago maybe i bougth tretinoin. dumb mistake buying a high concentration when i have never used if before. now i have these black spots around my mouth and idk what to do abt them tryed only using a moisturizer for like a whole mouth and cut tretinoin out completly for like 2 months now. also have some sort of rashe on the side of my nose hope you can see the problem in the photo any help would mean a lot

Nah my liver enzymes are fine and I'm on gear too

reta helps a lot and accutane isn't actually hepatotoxic so not much to worry about.

you need to wear european style sunscreen or else the sun will rape you on tret

tret makes you skin more photosensitive and makes it easier to get freckles or sun spots

They'll go away in a few months if you start using suncream tho but lay off tret for 3 months

either you bought a shitty one from indiamart or you didnt need tretinion in the first place or u used a high dose
im planning to buy one myself 0.025% dont know which brand tho

tretinoin didn't fuck you up, you did it yourself. It's like waterboarding your self saying water fucked me up. Go to the dermatologist is the only correct answer you can get, other than that use cicaplast b5 cream from La roche which is a gold standard for retards like you who have fucked up their skin barrier without doing any research.

never said it was the trets fault i bought too high of a concentration right of the start

You should always start with the lowest strength. When I first started using tret, I started with 0.025 from skinorac and then gradually moved up. But even with the lowest strength, you need to combine with a good moisturiser like the one I use is from la roche posay.

its been a while i tryed the moisturizer that guy recommended and i gotta say its better now from black the spots turned red and have some particles on them sort of like crumbs or dust on them but i think its a sign of healing

initially it purges and then it will start to show results

stop using any retenoids for a while.

try Niacinamide ≤5% or Azelaic acid 10% for the dark spots


for the nose rash:

If it’s red, irritated or burning it's just a damaged skin barrier

but if it's small bumps or red patches it could be perioral dermatitis
if that's the case visit a dermatologist
