Was scrolling though some old photos in the gallery, I had pimples mostly on my fohresd through puberty which left marks also dry skin + the development of forehead lines quite early genetically prone probably because father has a lot of them.

I’m comparing them today after about serious skincare for at least 6 months with at least 4 months of tretinoin use and the comparison

Late 2021 vs now
Even when I frown the lines are far less pronounced, I still have some residual hyperpigmentation around the cheeks and a lot under the eye where unfortunately I don’t tolerate tret very well.

Anecdotally relatives who’ve met me after a while have commented that my skin looks “more fair” in Indian terms that means either lighter or more clear

very nice results.

you'd look better if you grew the top of your hair out a little by the way, this makes you look older than you actually are.

Yea that’s true, I’m dealing with quite bad diffuse hairloss tho when I grow it out the texture is very poor and not easy to maintain unfortunately.

in that case it's understandable.

are you taking measures against it yet?

Microneedling, fin and 5mg oral minoxidil. It’s not typical hairloss it started when I was 12 after chemotherapy but I’ve recovered some ground after co-ordinating with an experienced dermatologist

Alldaychemist 0.01% conc quite high but I use very little less than a peas worth and dilute with one large pump of moisturiser to spread across the face before bed then rinse our with a cleanser in the morning

I use the ordinary niacinimide + zinc in the morning, I find it quite good for sensitive dry prone skin like mine, have you tried AHA?

not that specific one, but I consume the same ingredients pretty much, tbh I think it's made my skin more dry personally but it has made my skin tone way more even and pale looking

Usually I apply it then wait 15 minutes then apply moisturiser, that way it doesn’t dry up but continues to trap moisture. I hope it fades some pigmentation around my cheeks eventually and maybe my undereyes

Dude it's tretinoin I don't even use that shit anymore. It's mostly useless it's total cope does absolutely nothing. Burns the fuck out of your skin and all this shit for 5% increase in skin texture not even noticeable.

It’s legit for lines and mitigating sun damage tho. It only burns if you use too much or you don’t wash off and apply sunscreen the next day

Dude. Both you and I need SURGERY. Do you understand. Like we have WAY bigger problems. And fucking hairloss too. I got regrowth from dutasteride and RU, though. Very surprised. I didn't even notice it and then I realized an entire thinning patch of hair regrew.

How long you been using RU now? I’m thinking of adding something else, currently on 1.25mg fin EOD, 5mg oral minoxidil and 1.5mm dermaroll every 7-10 days

Tretinoin gave me insane collagen from looking like a pale rotter . Although I still have some acne the guy who says it’s cope can’t source it so coping or has shit tier digestive problems that leads to eczema flare up even with localised skin treatments which means he has much bigger probs

Is this your natural face? Looks hypermasculine and nearly perfect. Unfortunate skin and eye color though
