Tretinoin help

I have been using tretinoin for about 8?? weeks now and like a week ago my face started to get really red on every spot I apply my tretinoin and I have a kinda flakey skin around my moth area and neck. I personally think it's a broken skin barrier because I've used my tret without moisturizer nor cleanser in the first weeks (my fault) but now its weird that the effects come right now. I wanna stop for a week and heal the skin barrier. Does anyone have had this, if its an broken skinbarrier or any tips?

Let it heal and start using moisturizer before and after applying tret

oil yourself up with petroleum (vaseline) before you go to bed at night. It will help the skin barrier repair faster.

Yeah so I used the sandwich method only for the last week now but I will let it heal now for a week only using moosturizer and vaseline before bed thx

I dont have the redness on my face no more. And my acne is almost cleared up. I now just have the red acne scars but they fade. I only still have acne on my jaw like on my hyoid idk why that never goes away but those are probably coloured scars too. Srry if I type bad I am really zick and also couldnt use it no more.
