Tretinoin irritation

After using the sandwiching technique my face still gets extremely irritated after tret.

It gets ridiculously red and inflamed. Any tips or things that may solve this problem?

I’m only on .025% aswell.

Take a break for 5 days, after that use tret every second night until your skin adjusts. your skin barrier is probably fucked at the moment.

Alright I will have to try that, will my skin likely strengthen overtime so I can bump it up to everyday?

Yeah after 2 weeks of using it every second night

Yeah, it sounds like your skin barrier is getting extremely overwhelmed, are you using it too often? I'd recommend following a tret schedule (not all are personalized, so I'd try to slowly build up), also you should only be using a pea-sized amount and dabbing it all throughout your face to balance it. I recently just started too, but I've been following a schedule, pea-sized amount, sandwich method, and It's been going great

I’m may be using far more than pea sized ammount because I am retarded. Before I ween off I’m going to try to use pea sized ammount only.
