I started using tretinoin for acne scars and acne in general. I’ve read it’s recommended to use 3x a week but also heard if your skin isn’t dry,flaky,or irritated then you should be able to use it daily. Would it be okay to use daily?

I considered it but was able to receive Tret from a friend so I didn’t need a prescription and it was free

i’ve used both tretinoin & tazarotene & taz was much better, caused 0 irritation & gave glowing skin. i’d recomment taz but tret is good as well ig.

no, taz is literally amazing. gave me 0 irritation, 0 side effects. only negative (for me atleast) was that taz or tret weren’t really effective to prevent acne so i use taz alongside 5mg accutane daily.

taz should only be used on cleansed, dry skin (ex: 20 minutes after a shower) & it should always be paired with a moisturizer. my favorite to use it with is the purito panthenol cream as the niacinamide & panthenol in the cream better the effects of tazarotene.

imo it’s not cope, it’s just not the most effective option for acne/anti aging & there’s many better alternatives. (co2 laser for example)

i found out those red light face masks are useless and only the red panels work
i think the panels are kinda expensive so imma just use my money towards cheaper useful stuff

i see. im planning on buying a panel, yeh not relying on it soley to sort my skin, just as an axillery to my tretinoin routine.
