After ascending from LTN to HTN, I’ve realized something: it doesn’t matter who it was, I was treated differently by everyone. Every interaction changed. Strangers treated me with more respect and kindness, while people I once considered friends responded with hatred or jealousy—except for three people: my mom, dad, and brother. The truth is, no matter how much you ascend or descend, your close family are the only ones who see you for who you truly are. Your mom doesn’t care if you’re sub 5 or Chad; she will see you the same way. I could be CL, and my mom would still treat me just as she did before.
If you were to suffer a tragic accident that left your face disfigured, your girlfriend might stay for a few weeks or months out of pity, but in 95% of cases, she would eventually leave. Your friends would see you as a ruined version of who you were, and many would walk away. But your family? They would always stand by your side.
Having a stable family circle is a blessing not enough people appreciate.
