Trying Airbnb (helppppp!!!!!)

My grandma said she would allow me to rent out her house located in France for 3 months. I just checked the tax rates and what the actual fuck???? If I were to make €3,510 in a month I would be left with €2,586.59 after tax. My grandma usually rents to people she knows so doesn’t have to declare, but Airbnb forces you to declare. Please give me solutions. How can I rent the property without getting taxed? I refuse to pay these extortionate rates.

I rent out my annexe on Airbnb. Private renting is too long meaning I’d have to draw up contracts etc, so airbnb saves me time and is a lot more convenient. I live right on the doorstep of the beach, so I’m always booked during summer.

I just increase the price per night and people will still pay. If your property is good then just increase the price. I also get lucky with who people want to stay longer or repeat customers, they pay the money straight into my bank account instead. Just pay the tax tbh
