TV&Internet DOES make us dumber srs

People under 30 are dumber than any generation since the early 20th century because nobody reads anything anymore because of TV/internet/Netflix/whatever. Since those things consume less time those who produce such material are forced to cram everything into a limited time space which means every message has to be shallow and simplistic enough to fit the narrow time frame. Students in the past interested in complex social and political theory would have gone to the library and picked up a copy of Das Kapital or Wealth of Nations. Now people just go to social media and virtue signal some bullshit or watch a hollow "documentary" because that's faster, meaning that 90% of them won't even have a good understanding of the ideas they believe in (90+% of socialists under 30 probably haven't even read the communist manifesto).

The idea TV (and now the internet) makes you dumber isn't just a stereotype, it's 100% true dead srs.

90+% of the population does not watch or care about youtube personalities. The only reason most people in the UK know about Sargon is because the media buried him for that rape joke he made. In fact he arguably destroyed UKIP with his joke. I knew his joke would backfire on him horribly one way or another even years before he officially entered politics, and I was right. People look like zombies, as hormones like dopamine will be linked to the internet.

When I spent hours playing games and turning nights, I literally felt dead, besides losing track of time, just felt something playing video games, I stopped, since my health got much worse.
