Lefort 1 with an anterior impaction, yours looks like it would be 3-5mm. Has to be paired with a BSSO to fix the open bite you'll get from decreasing the Vertical Maxillary Excess so on the bright side you'll get free chin projection and a more upturned/forward mandible.

Me too, got diagnosed with severe class II and excess maxillary growth, should be able to get it taken care of before my next year at school so I don’t need a leap of absence to recover.

Even with a conservative surgeon like above, it will be significant. My surgeon told me CCW is a much safer procedure than CW which is strange.

major swelling should subside after around 6 weeks, being conservative with the movements also allows you to get away with it easier.

im with your surgeon on that one aswell, alot of them dont even do downgrafts and i dont think in any world it would be easier than just slicing a little bone. The default cut for the lefort already removes about .8-1mm of bone so.
