I haven't listened to the audio of this guy having a 40 minute conversation at the job centre but why is he having such a long conversation? For what reason?
I went to the job centre and I just sat down and she looked at my details like bank card and driver's licence etc and I just sat there in silence for 10 minutes as she typed stuff and then she gave my cards back and said "it was a pleasure meeting you" and I didn't even say anything back to her as I got up to left because of how awkward it was for her to say "it was a PLEASURE MEETING YOU" when we just sat in silence for ten minutes. She didn't even tell me whether I could start earning universal credit but apparently I could which I didn't find out until 3 months later because she didn't actually fucking say anything to me not a single word.
The 2nd time I went there it was like 15 minutes maybe with a man and he actually wasn't terrified to speak to me and he made me realise that for 3 months I hadn't been earning any money when I could have
It reminds me of in college when the female teacher would talk to every single person in the class apart from me and then the next lesson when I'd have my other male teacher he'd say so what did you and X talk about what you need to do and I just had no idea what to say and said "I can't remember" and it was so embarrassing cuz the class was dead silent doing there work and could hear everything ahhhh so awkward
