State of this country.. :fuk:

The Pathways Trial, led by King's College London, will follow 226 kids aged 10 to 15 diagnosed with gender incongruence. Half receive puberty blockers right away, while the other half wait 12 months, with everyone getting counseling and checks on bone health, fertility, brain growth, and well-being over two years. Prompted by the 2024 Cass Review's call for stronger evidence amid a routine-use ban, the study has ethics approval and parental consent requirements. Figures like Health Secretary Wes Streeting back it as essential research, while critics including Elon Musk and detransitioner Keira Bell call it unethical and plan legal action.
