Ukrainians as a nation suffer from a huge inferiority complex because of their Churek appearance and historically inferiority. In Ukraine, the vast majority of Salotyurks look like a mixture of Gypsies, Uzbeks and Mongols. This is not surprising given that the Ukry as an ethnic group were formed from Polovtsian, Pecheneg, Tork, Khazar, and other tribes, and the contribution of the Crimean Tatars and other steppe people who inhabited the Mankerman ulus (and the right wing of the Jochi ulus in general) from Old Clay times to the gene pool of the modern ukrangoloid is also strong.
Separately delivers and the fact that the ukroturk have "sworn enemies". As you probably already guessed, my young friend, these very enemies are the Russians. And a special tsimes adds that the majority of Russians have quite a North-European appearance (which is not surprising, since Russians as an ethnic group were formed in the north-western part of modern Russia, and later began to move from their northern Europe to the south and east). In Russia, some narrow-eyed Mongolian Ukrainian from the Dnieper steppes will be mistaken for an Uzbek or Tatar (there are dozens of cases when valiant Russian police officers mistook Ukrainians on the streets of Russian cities for Tajiks and Uzbeks and asked them to "show their documents").
Nevertheless, flatness and epicanthus do not stop Ukrainians from considering themselves "Europeans at heart" despite their Asian face, lol. Moreover, this power of autosuggestion is so strong that a ukrochurka with a standard Asian erysipelas can rub over a Russian blonde/brown haired from Vologda or Kostroma on serious cabbage soup, that piggies are Europeans, but Russians are not. To which a Russian can ask a reasonable question: "Why then are Russians 90 % light-pigmented northern Caucasians, and 90 % of Usrains look like a mongolo dark-skinned fucker?" Of course, a Ukrainian will not be able to answer this question.
