EYE AREA MAXING — THE BRUTAL TRUTH
1. THERE ARE 3 KEY AREAS TO THE EYE ZONE
• Upper eyelid (brow area, hooding)
• Lower eyelid (bags, hollows, fat)
• Lateral canthus + tilt (shape and aggression)
If even one of those is off, your entire face looks tired or off-balance. You need to target all 3.
2. DARK CIRCLES & HOLLOW UNDEREYES (GENETIC OR LIFESTYLE?)
• If it’s dark purple/blue = thin skin + visible blood vessels
• If it’s hollow = fat pad loss or bone structure issue
• If it’s puffy = fluid retention or fat prolapse
Fixes that actually work:
Topical:
Internal:
If it’s still bad after 3 months, consider:
• Under-eye filler (tear trough)
• PRF injections
• Lower blepharoplasty (if fat pads are bulging)
3. EYE SHAPE & CANTHAL TILT FIXES
If you have a negative canthal tilt, downturned eyes, or droopy outer corners it gives a sad, tired, weak look. No eye glow in pictures, no intensity.
Temporary:
Permanent fixes:
• Lateral Canthoplasty (surgery to raise outer corner of eye)
• Canthopexy (less invasive, stitches lift the tendon)
• Fox Eye Thread Lift (semi-permanent, results vary)
• Combine with brow lift for max effect if upper lid is heavy
4. BROW & UPPER EYELID HOODING
If your brows sag or your upper eyelid folds deeply over itself your eyes look half-closed and dead.
Solutions:
Also:
5. EYEBALL POSTURE (YOU’RE PROBABLY DOING THIS WRONG)
Most people walk around with a weak, soft, unfocused gaze.
Fix it:
6. SKIN AROUND THE EYES WRINKLES, SAGGING, and TEXTURE
If your eye skin looks rough, paper-thin, or aged — you lose presence in person and in photos.
Fixes:
8. Extra
• Under-eye hollows + visible veins = filler + retinol
• Puffy eyes + fat bags = lower bleph + caffeine + sodium cut
• Hooded lids + sad brows = temporal lift + canthopexy
• Eye wrinkles + crepey skin = microneedle + retinol + collagen

Fixes that actually work:
Topical:
- Caffeine eye serum (The Ordinary, Inkey List) mild effect
- Niacinamide (tightens and fades pigment)
- Retinol (builds collagen under the skin, long-term only)
- Azelaic Acid (pigment control)
Internal:
- Sleep 8–9 hours (yes it matters)
- Cut sodium down hard
- 2–3L water daily
- Add magnesium + zinc better sleep = less eye fatigue
- Quit seed oils and sugars inflammation = puffiness
If it’s still bad after 3 months, consider:

• PRF injections

3. EYE SHAPE & CANTHAL TILT FIXES
If you have a negative canthal tilt, downturned eyes, or droopy outer corners it gives a sad, tired, weak look. No eye glow in pictures, no intensity.
Temporary:
- Eyelid tape or lifting strips (used in K-beauty, not long-term)
- Eye exercises won’t fix actual tilt
- Browscaping can fake a higher frame but only so much
Permanent fixes:
• Lateral Canthoplasty (surgery to raise outer corner of eye)
• Canthopexy (less invasive, stitches lift the tendon)
• Fox Eye Thread Lift (semi-permanent, results vary)
• Combine with brow lift for max effect if upper lid is heavy
4. BROW & UPPER EYELID HOODING
If your brows sag or your upper eyelid folds deeply over itself your eyes look half-closed and dead.
Solutions:
- Botox brow lift (temporary, ~4 months)
- Thread lift (can raise lateral brow a few mm)
- Lateral temporal brow lift (surgical, permanent, best results)
- Blepharoplasty (removes excess upper lid skin)
Also:
- Build your frontal bone and brow projection while you’re still developing: GH, posture, chew, nose breathing
- If you’re under 18, you can still influence orbital bone shape with forward growth
5. EYEBALL POSTURE (YOU’RE PROBABLY DOING THIS WRONG)
Most people walk around with a weak, soft, unfocused gaze.
Fix it:
- Squint slightly when neutral
- Keep upper eyelid touching top of iris
- Imagine "looking through" people instead of at them
- That’s the hunter eyes expression — pure intensity, no tension
6. SKIN AROUND THE EYES WRINKLES, SAGGING, and TEXTURE
If your eye skin looks rough, paper-thin, or aged — you lose presence in person and in photos.
Fixes:
- Retinol eye cream (start slow)
- Caffeine + peptides (Depuffs and tightens)
- Microneedling (dermastamp > roller)
- Tretinoin if you’re serious and consistent
- Collagen peptides + Vitamin C
- Sleep mask with cold gel insert (cuts inflammation overnight)
