As much as I'd like to agree (as someone who is almost 26) half the forum would be gone. Now that isn't necessarily a bad thing because maybe only like 50% are even worth interacting with, however it's important to have different views on things no matter how retarded we think they are. A lot of under 25s here are actually high IQ. It's really just a vocal minority of teenagers that are bad. Besides 25 is kind of arbitrary, no? Is that when your brain supposedly stops developing?

Hell, some greys and teenagers actually post the best content here. If you insult some guy in rating section who's like "14m whats my psl?" and you say he looks bad and you list all his bad features, he might not get mad and will genuinely be asking for your help. Those people usually don't post much, and I can't get mad at them for wanting advice because I was in the same boat 10 years ago.

I agree to an extent. All the looksmaxxing is mainly done during puberty. If you haven't done it by the time you're 20, it's kind of just mental masturbation. Mostly every kind of looksmaxxing on here is cope because it's puberty that really decides everything. If you're not GL by the time you finished puberty, usually no amount of surgeries or anything will make you suddenly Chad. Surgery is only thing that can SOMEWHAT improve you after puberty, and that's usually limited to less extreme stuff like rhinoplasty. Of course softmaxxes will always help people (skincare, knowing how to get your hair back, etc) but it's mostly all cope after 20.

As far as I know, it relates to the general plasticity of the brain e.g how fast you can learn, how quick your brain changes, etc. I haven't done much research on this, but I have definitely read from various sources that if there's an age it would happen, it would be 25. Not sure how much I believe it.

That's a very good question, a question I don't have the answer to. Literature just says the brain doesn't stop growing until mid-twenties to late-twenties. It doesn't explain why, it only says the pre-frontal cortex is the last region of the brain to develop. Our brains develop from the back to the front, according to literature. This part of the brain, the pre-frontal cortex, impacts how we judge things, hence why the "anti-age gap" crowd exists, because they believe a 21 year old is too immature to decide she wants to date a 40 year old.
