When someone has hollow eyes, dark circles, or weak support under the orbitals, it immediately makes them look older, sick, or just low energy. I’ve seen guys with solid bone structure get completely dragged down by this one feature. On the flip side, even average guys look way fresher and more attractive if their under eyes are full and smooth.
Bone structure plays the biggest role. If your infraorbital rim is recessed, shadows form no matter what. That’s why some people look permanently tired even when they sleep enough.
Lighting is brutal. With hollows, a harsh light above you (like in bathrooms) exaggerates them massively. With good support, the face reflects light evenly and you look way better.
Fixes I’ve looked into: fillers/fat transfer, orbital rim implants, even skincare and lifestyle stuff. Skincare helps a bit but doesn’t change the underlying problem. Fillers can work but risk puffiness if overdone. Implants are probably the most legit but also the most extreme.
It honestly feels like this is a make-or-break area that doesn’t get talked about enough. You can fix your jaw, your hair, even your skin, but if your eyes look dead or hollow, the whole face collapses.
Do yall agree? Has anyone here actually done something about it (fillers, implants, fat grafting, etc.) and seen a big difference?
