This is kinda a water thread but...
One of the most underrated skills to have as a man is the ability to cook. For decades, cooking has almost always been a household task bestowed upon women as opposed to the man of the family. But nowadays it is so attractive from a female point of view to get with a man who can cook.
I mean obviously you don't want to become a housewife so in a long term relationship you should only cook sometimes, but for the first few dates, there is nothing more romantic then taking a girl to your place for a home cooked meal in a romantic atmosphere.
So not only does culinary talent attract women for short and long term relationships and provides a romantic atmosphere, it also makes a man look more intelligent because most young men are not taught how to cook. We have to learn the skill ourselves.
Learning how to cook is literally a cheat code. Imagine how a woman would react if you took her to dinner at McDonald's. Most women would ghost you after that.
TLDR: Cooking is a great skill to have because it signifies responsibility in long term relationships, intelligence, and it impresses women. Also home cooked meals = free romantic atmosphere
