Since so many people liked my previous thread. Here are a few underrated, Lesser-Known Effective Weapons

1. Tactical Pens

1000178801

Looks like a regular pen.

Made from aircraft-grade aluminum or titanium.

Can stab, jab, and strike pressure points.

TSA-compliant if it’s non-tactical looking!

Pros: Extremely portable, legal almost everywhere.
Cons: Shorter range than a knife.

2. Kubotan / Yawara Stick

1000178800

Small rod (usually metal or hard polymer).

Used for pressure point strikes, joint locks, bone jabs.

Often disguised as keychains.

Pros: Legal in many areas; amazing control weapon.
Cons: Needs basic training to use effectively.

3. Steel or Carbon Fiber Tactical Umbrella

1000178799

Reinforced umbrellas that are strong enough to be used like a baton or stick.

Won't attract suspicion β€” looks normal.

Pros: Legal almost everywhere; great reach and defensive capability.
Cons: Slightly bulky to carry daily.

4. Slapjack / Sap / Blackjack

1000178798

Small leather pouch filled with lead or steel shot.

Meant for quick knockout strikes to head or limbs.

Pros: Very effective at disabling quickly.
Cons: Illegal in many places (check your local laws).

5. Monkey Fist (Ball Bearing in Rope)

1000178797

Steel ball tied inside a tight rope knot.

Can be swung to generate huge force on impact.

Pros: Concealable; can hang on a backpack.
Cons: Requires some skill to swing effectively.

6. Karambit (Underrated Form of Knife)

1000178796

Small curved blade used for slashing and retention fighting.

Based on a tiger’s claw motion.

Pros: Hard for opponent to disarm you.
Cons: Harder to learn than regular knives.

7. Cane / Walking Stick

1000178795

Plain walking cane can be used to hook, strike, push attackers.

Special "combat canes" are reinforced.

Pros: Legal everywhere (especially if you appear to need it).
Cons: Large and not ideal for stealth carrying.

8. Flashlight (High-Lumen, Tactical)

1000178794

A heavy-duty flashlight (like Surefire or Fenix) can blind an attacker and then be used to strike.

Pros: Dual-use; blinding + blunt weapon.
Cons: Needs some close-quarter skills.

9. Hatchet / Tomahawk (Small Versions)
1000178792

Tactical tomahawks are lightweight and compact.

Can chop, throw, or strike.

Pros: Devastating power.
Cons: Usually too big to EDC legally.

10. Heavy Belt (Improvised Weapon)

1000178793

A strong belt with a heavy buckle can become a whip weapon.

Used in prisons historically.

Pros: Always available.
Cons: Hard to master without practice.

Pepper Spray

1000178802

Compact canisters that spray OC (chili extract) to disable attackers. Causes temporary blindness, intense burning, and breathing difficulty.

Pros: Non-lethal, legal in most areas, disables from a distance.

Cons: Wind can cause blowback; limited shots; illegal in some countries.

Tbh you UK niggas are kinda cucked. Even pepper spray qualifies as a firearm in the UK iirc. Even if you carry a legal objects like (flashlight, umbrella, cane) but use it to intentionally hurt someone you can be charged with assault.

Self-defense is allowed but pre-arming yourself with a weapon in the UK is not allowed in other words even if you have a cane and thr cane is legal to carry you are not allowed to use it.

Hammers are also vastly underrated.
They're cheap, you can get them anywhere and 1 blow is enough to end any fight.
