Today I’m going to go over 10 of the most underrated or unknown pharmaceuticals. Hope you guys enjoy.
BAM15
Biology
BAM15 increases the permeability of the inner mitochondrial membrane to protons. This increased proton permeability dissipates the proton gradient, decoupling electron transport from ATP synthesis. The energy from nutrient oxidation is released as heat energy instead of being stored in ATP. To compensate for the reduced ATP production, the mitochondria increase its rate of respiration and nutrient oxidation to try and generate the necessary ATP.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
It increases fat loss due to increasing your metabolism (1)
Unlike DNP it doesn’t increase hunger so using a GLP-1 isn’t a necessity. (2)
Doesn’t change body temperature like DNP does. (3)
At has been shown to be relatively non-toxic to organs.
Improves lipid and glucose metabolism. (2)
Doesn’t affect your thyroid like DNP.
It’s more selective than DNP. (4)
Side effects/ negatives
It has a short half life of 1.7 hours, which has been shown in animal studies. This means you have to split your doses of BAM15. (2)
More expensive than DNP and harder to source.
Has a poor bioavailability of only 67%. (5)
BAM15 is slower than DNP due to how it takes longer to reach its maximum effect.
How to use it
Supplies:
BAM15 is basically DNP but with no side effects. I would say it just mogs DNP due to this and should be used in almost any cut.
Erythropoiesis
Biology
Erythropoiesis works by traveling through the bloodstream to the bone marrow, where it binds to and activates specific erythropoietin receptors located on the surface of immature red blood cells. Binding to the receptor triggers the JAK2/STAT5 pathway within the immature cells. This signaling prevents the premature death of these immature red blood cells and encourages them to proliferate and differentiate into reticulocytes and, eventually, mature red blood cells. This results in an increase in the number of red blood cells and the amount of hemoglobin in the blood.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Improved oxygen carrying capacity. (7)
But the best benefits is it’s extremely useful for surgery. This is because Erythropoiesis significantly reduces the need for blood transfusions post surgery which come with far more risks. (8)
Also patients with higher pre-surgery hemoglobin levels generally handle surgery better and may experience benefits such as improved vitality after surgery. (9)
Side effects/ negatives
Higher blood pressure and blood clots due to Erythropoiesis increasing the blood’s viscosity. (10)
Pure Red Cell Aplasia is a very rare risk. This could be a risk as the body's immune system may produce antibodies that inactivate both the injected synthetic EPO and the body's natural EPO, leading to severe anemia that does not respond to treatment. (11)
How to use it
Supplies:
I’d recommend watching these vids
Storing/ how long can it be stored:
Erythropoiesis is very useful tool pre and post surgery and should be considered if you are doing surgery. However other than this situation it is pretty useless.
GT 20029
Biology
GT uses a proteolysis-targeting chimera mechanism to degrade androgen receptors, reducing the sensitivity to androgens like DHT. By breaking down the androgen receptor, it prevents androgens from binding.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
It has completed phase 1 in clinical trials in China, showing a good safety profile and promising results for skin. Although phase 2 and 3 haven’t been completed yet (specifically for skin) so the results might not be as good as initially thought. However the results might be even better (12)
It’s currently also in phase three of its trials for the hair loss where it has seen very good results. With one study showing an increase of 7.36 hairs/cm² at a 1% solution compared to placebo. (13)
It has one of the strongest theoretical anti androgen effects of any compound. Due to degrading the AR over time. Although no actual studies have been done on this. However based on current available data, GT20029 appears to be one of the best AA’s.
GT has shown very minimal to no systemic absorption. As well as no sexual side effects.
Side effects/ negatives
GT has only shown minor side effects like irritation and dryness and no serious ones.
Final verdict
GT rn is almost impossible to make/ get however after more trials and it becomes more readily available it could be one of the most effective products for not only your hair but your skin, as well as potentially dethroning RU 58841.
Insulin
Biology
Insulin works by forming microprecipitates. These microprecipitates break down slowly over time, consistently releasing small amounts of insulin into the bloodstream.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Helps relieve your pancreas if you’re using higher doses of HGH by reducing insulin load that your pancreas has to produce.
It improves nutrient partitioning by facilitating the uptake of glucose from the bloodstream into muscle and fat cells. Replenishes glycogen stores quicker and promotes the uptake of amino acids into muscle tissue. (14)
You have increased IGF-1 (nova rapid doesn’t), as lantus has a better binding affinity than human insulin to the igf-1 receptor. (15)
It’s a common misconception that using insulin will cause diabetes. This is total BS and has never been proven to happen.
Insulin supplied exogenously or produced endogenously also has an effect of suppressing ghrelin. Ghrelin is responsible for stimulation of appetite. This means theoretically you can use insulin for appetite suppression. (16)
Side effects/ negatives
If used incorrectly you can gain a significant amount of fat due to insulin inhibiting the breakdown of fats and promoting triglyceride storage in fat cells. (17)
If you overdose and don’t have any safe guard in place you can fucking die from this shit.
How to use it
What should you take with it:
Watch this vid
Final verdict
Insulin is extremely underrated and should be a must for anyone gym maxxing (unless you have a double digit iq then it can be deadly)
Monobenzone
Biology
It induces a type of hypersensitivity reaction where the body's immune system recognizes melanocytes as targets. So the body tries to destroy them. It also generates reactive oxygen species and quinones, which are cytotoxic to pigmented cells.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
It is one of the best skin lighteners on the market. It can take a Fitzpatrick 4 to 1 if used consistently enough.
Side effects/ negatives
Skin irritation, redness, or swelling. (18)
Peeling/ cracking of your skin (similar to tret). (19)
Increased photosensitivity. (20)
No long term human studies, so we don’t know if it’s carcinogenic or has more long term adverse side effects etc.
How to use it
What to take with it:
Monobenzone has very little flaws with great benefits which can’t really be replicated with any other product. I have no clue why it isn’t talked about a lot more as most of this forum is probably Indian, with this product potentially being one of the most effective looksmaxes they could do.
Polydeoxyribonucleotide
Biology
PDRN is a DNA fragment derived from salmon sperm (Ik it sounds super weird but stick with me). It works by activating the adenosine A2A receptor and utilizing the nucleotide salvage pathway. It’s A2A activation has a cascading effect with it inhibiting certain pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6, as well as stimulating anti-inflammatory ones like IL-10. It also significantly increases the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and increases cellular proliferation.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Speeds up healing and repair through activating cell receptors leading to faster cell turnover. This means it will help with acne scars, burns and other kinds of scars. (21)
Boosts collagen by stimulating fibroplasts. (22)
Strengthens the skin barrier, by helping the skin retain onto more moisture and reducing transepidermal water loss. (23)
Reduces inflammation by inhibiting certain pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6, as well as stimulating anti-inflammatory ones like IL-10. (24)
Some results of PDRN
Side effects/ negatives
Allergies as PDRN is derived from salmon. So if anyone with an allergy to salmon/ seafood shouldn’t use it.
Bruising at injection sites.
Swelling but it goes away after 1-2 days.
How to use it
First you need to reconstitute your PDRN solution
Materials needed for reconstitution (25) (Ik the patent isn’t purely for skin but rather for the treatment of osteoarticular diseases but it can still show us an idea of what is an effective PDRN injection composition):
but it can still show us an idea of what is an effective PDRN injection composition):
PDRN is a very useful and underrated skin max. It should almost always be used with accutane due to how it can counteract some of the adverse side effects, like a weak skin barrier and dryness. I think this should be something that is heavily considered for any real looksmaxxers.
Repamycin
Biology
Rapamycin enters cells and binds to intracellular proteins called FKBP. This FKBP-rapamycin complex then interferes with the function of mTOR, a protein kinase that controls many cellular processes. (And one of the main processes that ages you). By inhibiting mTOR, rapamycin decreases cell growth and proliferation. It also promotes autophagy, a cellular process of self-cleaning and recycling.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Rapamycin stimulates hair follicle growth and pigmentation via increased intrafollicular production of the melanotropic hormone, α‐MSH hair regrowth and repigmentation. This could mean it could be a useful addition in your hairmaxxing regiment. (29)
Oral Rapamycin has not been studied yet for its collagen effects. However topical rapamycin has in addition to mTOR inhibitors, with both showing very good results for skin collagen / aging. Which is a very good signs that oral will have a very similar effect. (30)
However the most impressive thing about Rapamycin is the increase in lifespan. A recent study shows the combination of Rapamycin and trametinib to increase median lifespan in mice by over 30%. With another showing a 25% increase with Rapamycin alone. This blows any other longevity drug out of the water. In addition the studies have shown the younger you take rapacymin the better the effects. With a study showing that mice taking at 9 months (equivalent to 30 in humans) had a 25% increase in median lifespan compared to 11% from a 20 month old mouse (equivalent to 60 in humans). (31) (32)
Side effects/ negatives
There are many studies showing that Rap can cause birth defects. This means if you’re using Rapamycin and want to have a child make sure it’s out of your system. (33)
Many studies show a long consistent use of ramycin (over 6 months) can lead to significant muscle loss. Aa MTOR is required for muscle growth (34)
However this can be lessened if you do a biweekly schedule of Rapamycin as well as using a relatively low dose.
Fluid retention is a common side effect. This occurs because rapamycin is an mTOR inhibitor, and the mTOR pathway plays a role in regulating fluid balance. (35)
Rapamycin has been shown to increase cholesterol, this means drugs like SR9009 or SR9011 are a must if you use Rapamycin. (36)
Rapamycin use has been associated with increased risks of blood clotting, this is because it enhances the activity of tissue factors in endothelial cells, affecting platelet procoagulant function. (37)
How to use it
What to take with it:
Although Repamycin has some great upsides and don’t think it’s worth taking in your ‘prime’ due to the brutal sides. However I think it could be very useful tool for after looksmaxxing/ when you settle down and could possibly counteract some adverse side effects of other pharmaceuticals.
Valsartan
Biology
Vals blocks the AT2 (Angiotensin II), this then allows the blood vessels to relax and widen leading to a lower blood pressure. It also has another effect which it helps the kidneys eliminate more excess water and salt, further contributing to lower blood pressure.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Reduces blood pressure by relaxing and widening the blood vessels. (38)
Protects kidney function by helping it eliminate excess water and salt. (39)
Some studies show that valsartan may lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. (40)
Side effects/ negatives
Can lead to overly high potassium levels.
Low blood pressure if you already have lowish blood pressure and take it (this is common sense but Ik at least one or two greys would do this).
Cough/ flu like symptoms.
How to use it
The dosing is very dependent on your actual situation/ what you’re using so experiment with different doses until you reach an ideal blood pressure.
But as guideline take between 50-200 mg daily
Final verdict
Val is insanely underrated. It is the best blood pressure drug on the market and should be a staple for any roider.
Yamanaka factors
Biology
Yamanaka factors are four transcription factors—Oct4, Sox2, Klf4, and c-Myc—that can reprogram mature somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells. They work by altering the cell's epigenetic landscape, opening up DNA to make it accessible and initiating the activation of a pluripotency gene network.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
Currently these have no impact/ benefits but the potential with them is insane they could potentially reverse aging and balding, change your eye color, make your growth plates stay open indefinitely and much more.
Side effects/ negatives
As it hasn’t been tried officially yet
Final verdict
This is a really possibility as scientists have already made iPSCs and genetically modified them. This is what I think the future of looksmaxxing will be allowing you to genetically alter yourself. However this is probably long away from being publicly accessible but it should be interesting to see any developments in this field in the coming future.
YK-11
Biology
YK-11 is a steroidal SARM structurally derived from DHT, it works by binding to androgen receptors in bone and muscle, whilst stimulating an anabolic effect. But its most interesting and useful mechanism is that it promotes the production of follistatin, a natural myostatin inhibitor. This is useful as myostatin is responsible partially for your muscle growth bottleneck/ genetic limit by suppressing muscle cell proliferation and differentiation. This means theoretically inhibiting myostatin can greatly increase the potential amount of muscle growth you can achieve. YK-11 has also shown to enhance the differentiation of osteoblast cells.
Benefits/ what it’s useful for
It’s been shown to have strong anabolic activity without stimulating androgenic effects on non-muscle tissue. However this hasn’t been tested/ shown in animal trials and only vitro so far. (41)
As stated earlier it’s a myostatin inhibitor, which as stated earlier means it could potentially reduce your genetic muscle growth bottleneck. (42)
Improves osteoblast cells which could potentially mean it can be useful in recovery, to improve broken bones/ fractures, improve certain diseases like osteoporosis. (43)
Increases your base metabolic rate and can potentially improve fat loss. (44)
Less severe androgenic side effects
Side effects/ negatives
YK-11 is considered hepatoxic to your liver due to its methylated chemical structure.
YK-11 posses many neurological and cognitive side effects. This can be due to how it can easily cross into the central nervous system, it can cause mitochondrial dysfunction due to suppressing key protein markers, increases neuroinflammation and many more. (45) (46) (47)
YK has some potential cardiovascular risks due to how it has adverse effects on lipid profile (increase LDL, decreases HDL), increases blood pressure, and Direct Cardiac Effects like myocarditis, left ventricle hypotrophy and heart arrhythmia. (48)
Just like most sarms YK has been shown to shut down your natural test levels. (48)
It also has limited human data so we don’t know the direct effects in humans yet.
Final verdict
YK-11 is a very interesting compound in terms of its muscle building potential but right now I would be heavily against using it, due to its high risk profile. However I think safer and more effective myostatin inhibitors will be developed in the coming years and could potentially change the world of steroids. But right now stay well clear of YK-11.

BAM15 is slower than DNP due to how it takes longer to reach its maximum effect.
How to use it
- Do it 3-4 times daily
- Use from 100 mg-300 mg a day
- You can either do it orally or inject it (which they have done both in animal studies) injecting would make more sense due to it having a low bioavailability
Supplies:
- DMSO
- BAM15
- Alcohol wipes
- Syringe
- Vial
- BAM15 has a solubility of approximately 20 mg/ml in DMSO e.g if you have a daily dose of 200 mg you need 10 ml of DMSO
- First clean and sterilize the vial
- Now put the desired BAM into the vial
- Inject the desired amount of DMSO into the BAM powder
- Remove the needle
- Mix the solution gently by slowly swirling it
- Allow the powder to dissolve completely
- Clean the vial again
- This vial usually lasts a day at 8 Celsius
- 26 G, 5/8 inch syringe
- BAM15 solution
- Alcohol wipe
- Wipe your around two inches above your belly button (basically your abdomen) with the alcohol wipe to sterilize the area
- Draw the BAM15 solution from the vial
- Pinch the area where you’re injecting into and then insert the needle
- Inject slowly at a 90 degrees angle
- Slowly pull out the needle and release the pinch
BAM15 is basically DNP but with no side effects. I would say it just mogs DNP due to this and should be used in almost any cut.

I’d recommend watching these vids
Storing/ how long can it be stored:
- Store at 2-8 °C (36–46°F)
- It generally lasts at this temperature for about 21 days
- Due to its risk profile and minimal upsides it should only be injected 2-4 weeks before surgery and 2-3 weeks after surgery
- You should take between 1200 to 500 units/kg every week depending on your situation
- You should inject 2-4 times a week depending on your situation
Erythropoiesis is very useful tool pre and post surgery and should be considered if you are doing surgery. However other than this situation it is pretty useless.

- There isn’t any specific hormone you should take with it but it works best if you use HGH as well because they have good synergy
- Have a glucose monitor. This is extremely important as without it you could potentially die
- If you get low blood sugar levels eat an equivalent of 30-50g of sugar from high glycemic foods (like jelly babies, coke, orange juice etc) always carry these with you at all times
- Never skip meals and have carbs with every meal
- There two points in which you should take it:
- As post-workout to offset muscle protein breakdown. You should use novarapid for this case as it has a shorter half-life and peaks within 30-90 minutes and it will drive nutrients into their muscle tissue to get the most benefit for recovery. You should always have a very high carb meal post workout if you are using novarapid (200g+).
- With your HGH to decrease the insulin resistance effects of GH and increase IGF-1. You should use lantus for this situation.
- At maximum take 30 IU’s of insulin total but I’d recommend going between 15-30 IU’s daily. A solid plan would be 15-20 IU’s lantus daily and 5-10 IU’s rapid on days you workout

Side effects/ negatives
Skin irritation, redness, or swelling. (18)
Peeling/ cracking of your skin (similar to tret). (19)
Increased photosensitivity. (20)
No long term human studies, so we don’t know if it’s carcinogenic or has more long term adverse side effects etc.
How to use it
What to take with it:
- Sunscreen should always be used because of how it makes your skin photosensitive
- Hydroquinone 6% or something of this nature should be considered if you have a Fitzpatrick 5 however most people are 4 or lower can get away with just monobenzone
- Everyone who wants to lighten their skin should take it imo however it is only specifically needed in Fitzpatrick 5 case. So you could technically use a weaker skin lightening product if you wanted.
- Use monobenzone until you reached your desired result this is usually between 3-12 months depending on your starting Fitzpatrick and the other products you use on top of monobenzone
- Then you can you can maintain it by using it once of twice a week
- First use get just a bit more than a pea sized amount in your hands
- Then apply it to all your desired areas for skin lightening (top tip don’t forget the neck and arms as you’ll look stupid if you have a white face but a very dark neck and arms)
Monobenzone has very little flaws with great benefits which can’t really be replicated with any other product. I have no clue why it isn’t talked about a lot more as most of this forum is probably Indian, with this product potentially being one of the most effective looksmaxes they could do.

- PDRN powder in a vial (a purity of over 95% is preferred)
- 0.9% sterile normal saline solution (preferably contains sodium chloride and a mixture of sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium hydrogen phosphate)
- Insulin syringe
- Alcohol wipes
but it can still show us an idea of what is an effective PDRN injection composition):
- Clean the rubber stopper of both the saline solution and PDRN vial with the alcohol wipe
- Inject the saline solution slowly into the PDRN via,l you want around a 0.5% to 3% by weight of PDRN powder in saline solution. For example per 30 mg of PDRN powder/ ml of saline for a 3% solution. Optimally the entire PDRN solution should be 2-3ml and have a pH of 6.5-7.5.
- Remove the needle
- Mix the solution gently by slowly swirling it
- Allow the powder to dissolve completely
- Draw the reconstituted solution into a fresh, sterile syringe for administration. To avoid drawing in bubbles, ensure the needle tip is below the fluid level without touching the bottom of the glass
- At 2-8 °C (36–46°F) can last around 3 months [90% of users report no degradation (26)]
- Reconstituted vial of PDRN
- 34G, 2mm Insulin Syringe as you’re injecting intradermaly
- Numbing cream
- Alcohol wipe
- You should target cheeks, nasolabial folds, tear troughs, forehead, chin and jaw area
- You should do each injection around 0.5-1 cm apart in a grid like fashion
- Inject between 0.02–0.05 mL per injection
- First wipe/ cleanse your face with the alcohol wipe
- Then apply a thin layer of numbing cream (you don’t need to do this, it’s only for people with a low pain tolerance)
- Map out your injection points
- Pinch the area you want to inject with the PDRN
- Inject slowly at a 30 degrees angle
- Take out the needle and repeat
- Start off by having 3-4 sessions around 2-4 weeks apart
- Then maintain with 4-6 weeks
PDRN is a very useful and underrated skin max. It should almost always be used with accutane due to how it can counteract some of the adverse side effects, like a weak skin barrier and dryness. I think this should be something that is heavily considered for any real looksmaxxers.

What to take with it:
- Take trametinib as Rapamycin has shown to have great synergy with it. So it will give better results than just using it by itself. Take 0.5 mg daily, if you haven’t got any side effects titrate it up every week by 0.5 mg, until you reach 2 mg. If you get side effects titrate it down by 0.5 mg every week until you don’t. (31)
- SR9009 or SR9011 for cholesterol. Make sure to dissolve it in DMSO and apply transdermal as it is rubbish oral bioavailability. Use 10-40 mg
- Test and HGH as Rapamycin can reduce these hormones. Use 20-25 mg of test P daily as we’re more trying to use it as TRT rather than blasting it. And use 3-6 IU of HGH daily
- Generally aim for 20 mg/ week
- But start with small doses and titrate up
- Also make sure to a week off week on cycle
- As well as to stop Rapamycin if you get a cold/ illness until you fully recover
- Week 1- 5 mg
- Week 2-0 mg
- Week 3- 10 mg
- Week 4- 0 mg
- Week 5- 15 mg
- Week 6- 0 mg
- Week 7- 20 mg
- Week 8- 0 mg
- Week 9- 20 mg
- Week 10- 0 mg
- Week 11- 20 mg
- Etc
