Unsightly minox residue

Been using minoxidil on eyebrows and cheeks for about 2 months now. It works extremely well for hairgrowth but it dries and looks super pasty and chalky on my skin for the rest of the day. How long does it have to sit on skin to fully absorb? because my brows often remain wet with it for hours.

of course, i recommend applying it in the afternoon/night when your home and then wash it after 1 hour, dont do it any time before afternoon/night if you want to never have any residue or sweat or any bs
