So i started the animal based diet on November 5th 2024. and this marks the 10 days since.
I will be making weekly updates on how its going and do i see any improvement.
This could be useful for those of you who are not sure about it from a perspective of someone that has acne.
MY DIET CONSISTS OF:
1. Meat
2. Animal liver and kidneys
3. Fruits (mostly apples, bananas, pears and avocado but i will start eating more berries as soon as i get some)
4. ONLY FERMENTED pickles and garlic - so i know you shouldn't be eating vegetables on an animal based diet but if they are fermented they do more good than bad because they contain the good bacteria that actually helps with healing the gut microbiome which is my main goal to stop acne, process of fermentation kills the toxins that the vegetables would normally have
Im thinking about adding eggs but im still not sure because its a diary product which can cause acne
MY PROGRESS SO FAR:
First of all i know i can't heal my gut in 10 days or few weeks i will be patient
- On topic of my skin it hasn't improved too much i got a lot of new active pimples in the first few days of this diet and then it got better but today i got 3 more inflamed pimples
-The main thing that happened was that my nose actually shrunk (maybe it wasn't from the diet because my nose generally is sometimes inflamed and swollen and sometimes its thinner and more normal) but i still think its from the diet because the inflammation went down and the tiny blackheads just disappeared so this could be life fuel if it stays like this
-I've been feeling well not necessarily more energetic, probably because of school but overall i feel better than the regular diet when i was eating pastries and sandwiches every day
1st WEEK CONCLUSION:
This is just the begging and this diet seems promising for acne and i really hope it will work because i really don't want to take accutane which i think is my last option if this doesn't work
I'm open for suggestions if you think i should start eating something or stop eating something tell me or if you have any advices on improving gut health or animal based diet or some supplements that may speed up the process.
Thats it for this week and i hope this helps someone, rep for effort please.
