If you get enough income, to cover not working, then you can freely quit, if not keep working.
I hate work, physical labour hurts, being in the blaring sun hurts, but the surgeries are not paying for themself.

i work corporate, tbh the pay is pretty bad and most of it goes to rent but i think the work ex is important for. I do have some long term plans as well (and yes surgery is one of my goals)

I work as an apprentice carpenter currently, so yeah I'm young, I'm 18 y/o currently, based of your tone I'm assuming your in 20 - 25.

I'm looking to transition into electrician, because it's the highest paid. The pay is 100,00 - 200,000 AUD per year pre-tax, which is really high. If you specialise enough or get create decent sized company, you can easily get paid more than doctors, which is insane.

yeah im almost. tbh i wish i was in trades (easiet said than done ik) but the pay for trades here is pretty shit.

Australia is a utopia for tradesmen like me. They are importing millions of ethnics, but they all do intellectual type jobs, nobody wants to do labour, plus there is lobbying to keep pay high from what I heard.

Sometimes see a few UKcels migrate here, and hey do trades, pay is shit in UK, but in Australia is golden, night and day difference.

Don't know much about immigration, I moved here 7-8 years ago, was originally in the UK.
