ive seen some good results from winged upper bleph where they mostly only remove excess skin on the outer eye corners, but its not very common
can that be done to preserve most of the hooding but make it less heavy on the outer eye corners?

Yes. It’s called lateral-focussed bleph. The incision they make wings a bit past the outer corner so the surgeon can remove a small wedge of excess skin laterally. It’s literally specifically for debulking the outer hooding while leaving the rest of the hood volume intact.

It may be the brow tail that’s the culprit, though, so they may offer a brow lift or browpexy.
