there are many discussions, surgical plans and attempts to fix lower eyelid exposure and bug eyes but the upper eyelid is just as important if not more.
look at these examples.
as you can see they all have a very slight upward curve and low peak in upper eyelid scope. giving them higher PFL and preventing upper iris exposure. some of these people don't have hunter eyes. first guy even has upper eyelid exposure but his eyelid alone still gave him the ideal eye shape, prevented bug eyes look and also by being firm and having long length prevented deep hollow cave above his eye.
just imagine pushing his eyelid skin in. it will go up and deep in his eye socket making him look this subhuman here.
in my understanding the most important factor to measure for this is how upward your upper eyelid slope starts at your medial canthus.
this is actually the common theme between every ugly eye. having this doesn't necessarily means you have ugly eyes because it can be frauded with hooded eyes or for some people the upward slope ends very quickly preventing too much peak( however this eye shape usually lacks dimorphism and it's child like).
some examples:
(not ugly but looks like baby eyes)
so not every high upward slope eyelid is ugly but ALL the ugly eyes have upward slope.
by this knowledge you can evaluate your own potential, if u have low degree of slope, your eye failos are probably from things around the eye not the eye shape itself(at least in upper part). but if you have high degree, YOU ARE FUCKED.
the problem is changing the slope near medial canthus is very hard. things like orbital implants and fat graft only enhance OVER the eyelid. to change it you have to directly work with the eyelid itself and i cant think of any surgery or technique that can properly enhance that. surgeons fuck up most surgeries regarding upper eyelid anyway even wihtout going near medial canthus.
Finding the surgical technique to properly change inner part of your eyelid slope will be the golden screw for maxxing eye aethetics.
