I don’t even work out anymore, but it would take around 1 hour, you only need to do 1 set for all 9 muscle groups

Full body honestly mogs so hard, you don’t get bored ever because you have so much variety in your exercises, and you only have to go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week

You should definitely try full body, especially if you can’t stick to a ppl split consistently, you are gonna be atrophying doing what you’re doing now

Full body is an unideal split as you're not able to target every single muscle in your body on one day.
You should customize your split on which muscles you want larger than your others when you want to build frame you hit more back and shoulders than any other part

How are you not able to do this?

Also with full body you program the muscle groups you are prioritizing first, so they will grow the most

Full body is a nice split when first starting to work out cause then you only need to work out your larger muscle groups but over time you want to train smaller groups to like different sorts of tricep muscles and different parts of your back etc. you will not be able to hit them all on one day unless you stay at the gym for 5 hours and your body can't take that much

You can hit your small muscle groups with full body easily

You don't only train legs on lower, you train abs and forearms too.

Upper: chest, back, delts, biceps, triceps

Lower: quads, hamstrings, calves, abs, forearms

True they will get trained indirectly but if you want them to be optimal, you should train all muscle groups directly.

I have 2 full body trainings 4x a week.
One is chest, shoulders, quads, triceps and the other one is back, rear delts, bizeps, hamstrings and neck.
So front and backside of the body splitted.

That’s kinda more like a modified upper lower

True they will get trained indirectly but if you want them to be optimal, you should train all muscle groups directly.
Also some aspects of forearm/grip strength won't be trained from just indirect usage. For example, apart from actual forearm hypertrophy, there's 3 types of grip strength: crushing grip, pinching grip, and support grip. Crushing grip is how much your forearms are able to crush something that's in your hand such as a soda can. Pinching grip is when you bring your fingers and thumb together as if you are pinching something or you are like for example hanging off a building and the only leverage you have is from pinching on to like a wall. Support grip is how long you can hold your forearms closed such as holding something in your hands or hanging from a bar.

So if you don't directly train these, only support grip is trained indirectly such as from just holding a barbell or hanging from a bar while doing pullups whereas pinch grip and crush grip aren't being trained. Just something to keep in mind if you actually care about getting stronger in those areas.

upper lower + arm day (all bicep & tricep superset + do a few isolations for muscle groups that you want to improve [traps, abs, side delts) is meta
